This is a Society-based independent study that allows HMS students to arrange an educational experience between themselves and the preceptor. The independent study needs to be relevant to medical education and the Associate Master of each society must approve the course. The course is to be used for experiences not covered by courses that already exist in the HMS Course Catalog. Application forms for Independent Study are available in the HMS Registrar's Office.
