Description

The purpose of this course is to provide the concepts and skills needed to function as a culturally-competent dental provider in a comprehensive, patient-centered dental practice. The Practice of Dentistry I course includes orientation to HSDM clinical operations (including billing, staff, and insurance) and clinical protocols. Additionally, ethics, professional behavior, and cultural sensitivity will be explored through cases in treatment team meetings and lectures.
