Course Information

Description

Public health and the healthcare industry are increasingly global in nature, and the pace of change is increasingly rapid. Healthcare leaders around the world are dealing with similar issues and can learn best practices from leaders in other countries. This course aims to equip you with various frameworks for leading change and dealing with organizational resistance, as well as providing you with an opportunity to examine your own approaches to change and conflict management.

The course will utilize a mix of case studies, simulations, interpersonal exercises and guided reflection to help you grapple with leading in your organizations. Some topics covered in this course will be frameworks that will help you think critically and strategically about change; how to deal with transitions; and how to address and resolve conflict effectively.

This is an in-person travel course taking place in London. This course requires two pre-course assignments due the week before the course begins.
