Course Information

Description

*Lottery-Based Enrollment* The rising generation of educators must learn how to communicate with courage and lead with integrity in an increasingly diverse, disrupted, and divided world. This course will help strengthen your capacity to do so--in whatever context or community you choose to work. Approximately one-third of our time together will be devoted to lessons and group discussions on various aspects of Professor McCarthy's B.R.A.V.E. communication and leadership framework. The other two-thirds will consist of smaller sections where you will deliver speeches and receive feedback from your peers and the teaching team. This course is designed for people who want to become better and braver communicators than they are right now. Students are required to attend a weekly Lesson on Monday evenings and one 90-minute section scheduled at another time each week.
