Course Information

Description

We will study the use of data for business decision-making, including personnel, pricing, product design, and place. Students will work through intensive data analysis exercises outside of class. Students will also read and analyze academic papers, as well as business cases that describe organizations integrating (or failing to integrate) data analysis into their decision-making. Class time will focus on introducing key concepts and methods, discussing readings, and interaction with classroom guests. Students will write an original research paper using data to recommend a decision for a real organization.
