Fundamental concepts, formalisms, and examples of conservation of energy and change in entropy as applied to energy, environmental, and biological systems.
Course Notes
E-PSCI 112 is also offered as ES 112. Students may not take both for credit. Undergraduate engineering students should enroll in ES 112. This course fulfills the EPS sub-discipline requirement of Climate, Atmosphere, and Oceans.
