Course Information

Description

The importance of public health is more evident now than ever before. Recognizing that public health is conducted by people in all professions, not just those with public health titles, it's crucial that public health education and training be accessible and applicable to a diverse array of people. This course provides a dynamic introduction to the intersection of education and public health. Our mission is to equip you with the introductory skills to develop and deliver purposeful learning experiences tailored to various contexts—academic, organizational, or community settings.

Throughout this brief yet intensive course, you will develop a customized training plan, culminating in the delivery of a 10-minute training segment. We encourage you to think critically about your target audience, focus on their specific learning needs, and strategically align your training objectives, methods, and assessments with those needs. You will leave this course with practical skills to improve public health through education.
